Vintage Indy Cars Invade The Milwaukee Mile

The Harry A. Miller Club will host its 16th Annual Millers at Milwaukee Vintage Indy Car Event that attracts collectors and enthusiasts of antique race car engine designer Harry A. Miller. The two-day event features front engine pre- and post-WWII Indy cars, Champ cars and Roadsters, and draws about 50 cars each year.

Miller owners have the opportunity to drive 50 to 100 laps on the famous Milwaukee Mile oval race track, the oldest continuing race track where Miller cars were specifically designed to race. Open to the public, attendees can get into the Milwaukee Mile pit to check out the unique vintage vehicles.

This year’s Millers at Milwaukee event is dedicated to the club’s founder David V. Uihlein Sr., who passed away January 29, 2010.

“We take pride in recognizing Uihlein’s vision to preserve automotive history, and we will continue honoring all vintage race cars by offering our participants exponentially more track time at Millers at Milwaukee than other events,” said Dana Mecum, president of the Harry A. Miller Club.
