Tim Flock Deserves To Be In The NASCAR Hall Of Fame

Tim Flock is quite familiar to many older race fans. A fan favorite, Flock was the 1952 and 1955 NASCAR National Champion and has 40 Cup wins to his credit. I’m asking all of you to nominate Tim Flock to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He deserves to be in the inaugural induction. Read below what seven-time NASCAR Champion Richard Petty said about Tim. I once heard Richard say that his idea of the perfect race car driver was Tim Flock. Included in this column are some of Tim’s statistics. I’d like to thank the Flock family and www.timflock.com.

Please to go www.nascarhall.com to nominate Julius Timothy “Tim” Flock for the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

“To me, he was a cool customer. You would see a bunch of them drivers running sideways and doing all. Tim would just be running around. When the race was over, Tim won. Them guys were still running sideways.” – Richard Petty, from ESPN Classic’s SportsCentury series
