Thiel Memorial Now Set For August 31 After Rainout

Beaver Dam, Wis., June 1—Heavy rain showers forced the cancellation of the 6th annual Sue Thiel Memorial USAC National/Badger Midget Series co-sanctioned event Friday Night at Dodge County Fairgrounds.
The event has been rescheduled for Friday Night Aug. 31 at the 1/2-mile dirt track. A total of 46 cars drew qualifying numbers for the first USAC/Badger co-sanction in more than fifteen years.
