The Racing Round Up Show Launches 25th Season Monday, April 13

A New Start Time of 7:00 p.m. In Store For Live Weekly Radio Program Airing on 540 ESPN (WAUK-AM).

This Monday night, April 13th marks the launch of 25th year of The Racing Round Up Show, a popular Milwaukee-area weekly radio program that covers all forms of motorsports.

Executive Producer and Host Jim Tretow will again be joined by experienced show contributors to cover the local scene, the latest in NASCAR, IndyCar Series and the world of motorsports each week. The show airs weekly April through September – which mirrors the local racing season – live on 540 ESPN (WAUK-AM) in Wisconsin, and via webstream at www.racingroundup.net.

Each action-packed 90-minute show airs live from Paulie’s Pub & Eatery, 8031 W Greenfield Ave in West Allis. The Racing Round Up Show is America’s longest running weekly motorsports radio program to be held in front of a live audience.

With the new season comes a new start time of 7:00 p.m. CST, which is one hour later than in previous years. To aclimate racers and fans attending the show at the new start time, Paulie’s Pub is offering 40-cent wings starting at 6:00 p.m., with in-studio trivia and prizes before and after each show.

“The motto still holds true for 25 years – if it has a motor and a number on the side of it, we’ll talk about it!” Tretow said. “We enjoy interviewing pre-teen racers and short track standouts as much as the opportunity to have a NASCAR driver on the show. We provide racers a chance to get comfortable being interviewed, allow them to thank their supporters and give them recognition for the sweat equity they have in a sport we love. This is a show presented by race fans for race fans, and we would have it no other way on The Racing Round Up Show.”

The Racing Round Up Show encourages fan participation and welcomes racers of all ages on all levels to be a guest on the show, and to bring their racing machines, sponsors and friends. More information can be found on the show’s website, www.racingroundup.net.
