Saldana Untouchable In All Star Action At Volusia
- Updated: February 14, 2014

Barberville, Fla. – Joey Saldana was untouchable at Volusia Speedway Park on Thursday evening in UNOH All Circuit of Champions action. Driving the Motter Motorsports winged-sprinter, the Indiana driver led flag-to-flag en route to victory on the fast half-mile dirt track.
The race was one of many under the DIRTcar Nationals presented by Summit Racing Equipment promotion.“It means a lot to win my first race of the year,” Saldana said. “We just got this new car three weeks ago, and the guys have been working hard to get down here. Last year we came here and struggled, so to come here and to run as well as we did tonight shows our hard work paid off. Tonight was our first time out in this new car.”
Finishing second was Paul McMahon with Tim Shaffer rounding out the podium finishers.
World of Outlaws stalwart Donny Schatz took fourth place ahead of Danny Holtgraver.
Rounding out the top-10 finishers was Cody Darrah, WoO champion Daryn Pittman, David Gravel, Kraig Kinser and Tim Kaeding.
20-time WoO champion Steve Kinser dropped out in the early going.
In UMP Modified racing, Kyle Bronson edged Ty Dillon by .28 seconds to capture the 20-lap feature. Third went to Matt Westfall and NASCAR regulars Austin Dillon and Justin Allgaier were next in line.
