RacingNation.com Power Rankings
Jimmie Johnson ? Heading into Texas with momentum Jimmie is looking to knock his boss fromt the top of the standings.

Jeff Gordon ? 0 for 13 at Texas, Gordon would like to put a checkmark at Texas as a track he has won at.

Clint Bowyer ? Showing the fight of a Hendrick driver, Clint is hanging by a thread.

Carl Edwards ? Watch out Texas. The cookie-cutter contender is coming.

Kyle Busch ? “I’m crabby and going to wreck my car.” If Kyle ever matures, he might be a great driver.

Tony Stewart ? This is not the Chase Tony was looking for and Atlanta was not the race he was looking for.

Matt Kenseth ? Matt is on a roll right now, too late for the Chase but a good way to finish the season.

Jeff Burton ? A solid top five and up next, a track Burton wins at. Things are looking up.

Martin Truex Jr. ? Texas will be a good place to get a finish that matches the solid runs that Martin has had.

Kurt Busch ? Should be another top ten in the books after Texas.

Denny Hamlin ? Atlanta sums up the Chase for Hamlin, ran out of gas.

Kevin Harvick ? Not a horrible run at Atlanta provides a little bit of hope for Texas.

Casey Mears ? Challenging for 13th and with Earnhardt Jr’s luck recently, Casey make take the spot.

Kasey Kahne ? 6 top 10’s in the last ten races. Look for another top 10 at the Lonestar track.

Bobby Labonte ? Ok, this is it? Could the return to Victory Lane come at Texas?
