Pennsylvania 200 Live Streaming Audio At ARCAracing.com
- Updated: July 31, 2008
LONG POND PA (7-31-08) ? ARCA RE/MAX Series race fans can follow all the on-track action this Friday and Saturday from Pocono Raceway via the ARCA Racing Network, available exclusively at arcaracing.com, presented by Team Glock Racing.
The Pennsylvania 200, the 47th ARCA RE/MAX Series event at Pocono, will feature live streaming audio of SIM Factory Pole Qualifying Friday as well as the Pennsylvania 200 race Saturday afternoon. In addition, all on-track activity, including practice Friday, is available via Live Timing & Scoring at arcaracing.com.
?The live audio stream is yet another way to bring ARCA RE/MAX Series racing to our fan base, especially when we don?t have live TV coverage,? said Mark Gundrum, VP of Marketing and Communications. ?The response from providing the live streaming audio call from Cayuga and Berlin indicates that our fans are hungry for the coverage when TV?s not there.
?We?re certainly excited to bring ARCA RE/MAX Series fans live coverage of the Pennsylvania 200 at Pocono, which will be the first time the ARCA Racing Network will provide a live audio stream from a superspeedway.?
Feedback regarding the live streaming audio from Pocono is welcome.
Entrants include current ARCA RE/MAX Series point leader and Roush Fenway Racing development driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and Red Bull Toyota driver Scott Speed, currently second in championship points. Stenhouse and Speed finished one-two respectively at Pocono back in June. Also entered are nine-time series champion Frank Kimmel, DEI?s Aric Almirola, Chrissy Wallace, five-time Daytona winner and local favorite Bobby Gerhart, and Jarit Johnson, the younger brother of two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champ Jimmy Johnson.
The ARCA RE/MAX Series, which shares the track at Pocono with the NASCAR SPRINT Cup Series, is scheduled to practice from 10:15 AM to 11:55 PM Friday, August 1st with SIM Factory Pole Award Qualifying slated for 1:45. The Pennsylvania 200 goes off Saturday afternoon, August 2nd at 1:00.
Tickets for the ARCA RE/MAX Series Pennsylvania 200 and the SPRINT Cup Series event at Pocono are available by contacting the Pocono Raceway Ticket Office at 1-800-RACEWAY (1-800-722-3929), or through http://www.poconoraceway.com.
