Kenseth Looks For First Snowball Derby Victory

November 22, 2011 – The Snowball Derby has been running the first weekend in December
since 1968. Winners include such drivers as Kyle Busch, Rich Bickle, Jr, Butch Miller,
Steve Wallace and many more. This year, ASA Midwest Tour driver, Ross Kenseth will
be making his third attempt at the Snowball Derby on Sunday, December 4th, 2011.

This 300-lap event is held in Pensacola, FL and attracts many of the big names in
stock car racing because it is run after most tracks and series have concluded their
seasons. In his previous two attempts, Ross Kenseth has had a great car, but unable
to be there at the end. This year, Ross and his team will be bringing a brand new
car.

The 2010 ASAMT Rookie of the Year hopes his experience with the ASAMT will play
to his favor. “Racing in the ASAMT has been a really good experience for us. I think
it has the most competitive short track racing there is, so being able to race weekly
with that caliber of drivers makes us comfortable going down south knowing that
there is no excuse for us not to be running up front,” said Kenseth.

The Snowball Derby is considered by many to be the most prestigious race in short
track racing. Many drivers from down south and nearby states are sure to be there
along with some who travel all the way across the country. Names like Chase Elliot
and Bubba Pollard are two that are sure to be reckoned with.

When it comes to competition, “Chase Elliot seems to always be in position to contend
for the win so it’s hard not to mention his name. There is a ton of talent this
year. Bubba Pollard has been dominating the south and David Ragan is racing this
year as well, so it will definitely be a challenge,” added Kenseth.

Ross would like to thank all of his sponsors for the their continued support;www.Farmandfleet.com,
Rayovac, Valvoline, Ford, Work ‘n Sport, and Pathfinder Chassis.

Ross will also be racing in the 100 lap Snowflake event on Saturday night, December
3rd. Everyone with the American Speed Association? Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented
by ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment and GrandStay Hospitality wish Ross and the entire
team the best of luck.
