Professional off-road racer Keegan Kincaid will carry the Championship Off-Road Pro 2 points lead into this weekend’s event at ERX Motor Park, the midway point of the 2021 championship. After netting his third win of the year last month at Crandon International Raceway, the driver of the #4 Lucas Oil/Cooper Tires/Vision Wheel Pro 2 enters this weekend in control of the title chase and ready to build upon his advantage against one of the deepest fields in recent memory.

“I’m pumped up to get back on track at ERX this weekend!” said Kincaid. “It’s been a phenomenal start to the season so far, with three wins in the first three races of the year. ERX was a great track for us last year with podiums in every start we made here, so we’re hyped to try and continue that streak on Friday and Saturday. We’ve built ourselves a nice little points lead so far, so we’re hopeful that we can extend that with a couple more trips onto the box.”

Last year’s pandemic-influenced schedule saw double the action at ERX, and the track was exceptionally kind to Kincaid. Not only did he kick off the season with a race victory in the season opener, he also scored podium finishes in all four Pro 2 races from the Minnesota track. Those heavy points hauls added up to help Kincaid stay in the title hunt all season long.

This time around, Kincaid will enter the lone planned ERX event with arguably even more momentum. A hat trick to start the season, thanks to a sweep at Antigo Lions Roaring Raceway and win in the first race of the Crandon Brush Run, helped him establish a 10-point advantage coming into the fifth and sixth rounds of this year’s campaign. With many of the top west coast racers having joined the COR Pro 2 field in the offseason, the challenge has been even stronger, meaning Kincaid’s victories have been some of the hardest fought in the series.

Championship Off-Road action from ERX Motor Park takes place on Friday and Saturday. Weekend tickets are $45 for adults and $10 for kids, and camping and VIP access are available. Click here to purchase your tickets to watch Keegan race!
