Hungarian Grand Prix Preview

There have been many popular tracks that are on the
formula one calendar during the summer which could relate to ending up as the
biggest races of the year, being usually Spa in Belgium and Italy, which
concludes the European season. However, since 1986, when the Iron Curtain was still
in existence, Hungary hosted the first race that was held a track simply known
as the Hungaroring. Even today, this race which is held to the point of only
the track being used one time for the is event, has been under huge scrutiny to
be replaced, as other tracks begin to
put their application in for an event.

Even to this point, the Hungaroring is one of the
twistiest tracks on the formula one calendar that is very surprising that of
all the corners on the circuit, there are none that actually have no names like
other tracks. The track is very popular for it’s dry and dusty part as the
circuit is rarely used outside of this race weekend.

The main part of the track of this 78 lap marathon
is the start/finish line, which is a long straight goes slightly downhill
before it turns to the right and continues on. Turns eight and nine are the two
chicanes on the track and you have to be careful that you must be patient and
time this part of the track perfectly. Finally, there is turn 14, the last
sweeping right hander before the main straight comes back into view.

There is a lot of stop and go on this track, so set
up is a plus, and with this becoming the slowest lap after Monaco, it will
certainly be a different challenge as it could make a change in how the formula
one world championship standings are going to be effected among the drivers involved.
