BRISTOL AUGUST 25TH
On Saturday night August 25th, Cup drivers make their second appearance of 2007 at Bristol Motor Speedway for the running of the Sharpie 500. Bristol ran the first of many legendary Cup races on July 30th, 1961, and has been thrilling fans ever since. Dubbed the ?World?s Fastest Half Mile?, this track boasts 36 degrees of banking in the turns and 16 degrees on the straightaways.

As I see it, the following drivers have the best chance of pulling out a top finish on Saturday. Like Michigan?s analysis above, this ranking factors in drivers? success at Bristol and other short tracks, along with any momentum driver?s are experiencing over the last month of racing.
