Circuit Of The Americas To Integrate State-Of-The-Art Video Display

New GreenLine displays offer superior video quality and energy savings

AUSTIN, Texas, (May, 11, 2012) – Circuit of The Americas is pleased to announce its newest partnership in developing the motorsports and entertainment venue in Austin, Texas. TS Sports is a single solution for venue video and audio system needs and is the exclusive integrator of Lighthouse LED displays in the U.S. sport market. The Dallas, Texas-based company will integrate five permanent HD10 LED video displays , and will serve as the exclusive rental LED display provider, at Circuit of The Americas (COTA). In addition to the five permanent screens, TS Sports will also install 17 rental screens for use during the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX? set for Nov. 16-18, 2012. Three permanent displays in the pit building will be approximately 15 feet tall and 29 feet wide. Two permanent displays in the main grandstand will be approximately 15 feet tall and 21 feet wide.

HD10 is a state-of-the-art LED video display manufactured by Lighthouse Technologies that delivers spectacular brightness, ultra-high contrast and excellent image resolution and uniformity. HD10 is part of TS Sports and Lighthouse’s new GreenLine Series. The Series utilizes proprietary technology to create superior video quality while consuming much less power for initial and long-term energy savings .

Typical uses for displays on TS Sports products include HD replays, live camera shots, graphics, statistics, player/driver information, advertisements, fan prompts, and animations that keep fans informed and entertained throughout an event. TS Sports will integrate over 240 LED video boards in a variety of sizes and dimensions for COTA events. The company has installed dozens of LED displays in sports and entertainment venues across the United States, including the Texas stadiums and arenas that are host to the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs, Texas Christian University and the Dallas Stars and Cedar Park Stars professional hockey teams. COTA will be the first motorsports facility to feature TS Sport’s HD10 LED video displays.
