Can Vettel Continue His Success This Season?

Now that the formula one drivers for this season
have a good three weeks to go over their performance, it is beginning to look
even with early reservation, that the formula one world could witness another
Sebastian Vettel world title. Certainly, anything can happen because the racing
will begin again in Spain on May 12th and stay on the European continent
for another month with a race also scheduled for also the end of May in Monaco,
before the teams go to one race in Canada in mid-June.

With all this possible Vettel domination, another
driver that is showing a lot of hope is Kimi Raikkonen, who now lies ten points
behind the German and win one win and a couple of podiums after four races. It
will take a problem for the Finn to not at least finish in the top three in the
championship before the end of the season.

The last Race in Bahrain turned out to be an
exciting event, as Vettel triumphed for the second time, while Paul Di Resta
was the big surprise, nearly getting to the podium again, after being passed by
Romain Grosjean laps from the end for
third place. Mark Webber managed to finish this time, but it seems obvious that
the Red Bull driver has to think things through about his future and needs to
step up his performance. Then there are the Ferrari drivers. Fernando Alonso
certainly would have been on the podium if it was not for a failure in his DRS
system that caused him to drop back on the grid. Felipe Massa was struck by
Adrian Sutil’s Force India on the opening warm up lap and never recovered.

So it seems that the drivers that are showing their form so far are Vettel, the two Lotus entries
of Raikkkonen and Grosjean and the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton, along with
possibly Alonso, if he can receive better luck. All this will have more answers
in three weeks’ time when the drivers will go next to the Circuit de Catalunya
in Barcelona, Spain.
