Beaubier Doubles Up At Road America in MotoAmerica Weekend Races

Photos by Jon Kanter and Roy SchmidtMonster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha rider Cameron Beaubier took home dominant victories at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI on Saturday and Sunday to kick ff the MotoAmerica season.
Beaubier didn’t stop with the wins as he also set a track record on Sunday, touring the natural terrain road course in 2 minutes and 11.033 seconds.
On Saturday, Yamaha riders Mathew Scholtz and Jake Gagne completed the podium followed by Suzuki’s Bobby Fong and Kyle Wyman on the Ducati filling out the top five.
Sunday’s podium had Gagne and BMW’s Josh Herrin. They were followed in the top five by Wyman and PJ Jacobsen, both on Ducatis.
The MotoAmerica series will return to Road America for Round 2 on June 26-28.
