Barberville, Fla. - Joey Saldana drove Kasey Kahne's winged sprint car to victory in the second night of O'Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series action at Volusia Speedway Park.

Taking the point on the second lap, Saldana and his red Budweiser car survived six caution flags and a solid field of competitors to capture his ninth career victory on the fast 1/3rd mile dirt oval. His margin of victory was 1.3 seconds.

"We drew a fifth starting position and with tough guys in front of us, we drove by all of them to take the lead," Saldana said. "I thought we had the fastest car last night but we finished second. Once we got the lead tonight, we gained a solid hold on the race."

Craig Dollansky, who won the opening race, finished second after leading the initial lap.

Legendary champion Steve Kinser advanced from the ninth starting position to gain third place.

Fifth place went to Sam Hafertepe Jr.

Stevie Smith, Danny Lasoski, Jason Meyers, fast qualifier Tim Kaeding and Dale Blaney rounded out the top ten.

Donny Schatz lost a wheel and did not finish the race after running as high as fourth place.

Kaeding bounced back after flipping a day ago to grab the pole with a time of 14.187, but fuel line problems dropped him to the back of the feature's starting field.

The popular World of Outlaws sprint cars kick off its season with three nights of racing starting on Friday.
