Kenton Koch started off the 2015 racing season right where he left off last year – by winning.

Driving for JDC Motorsports in the Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda Series, the 20 year old racer from Glendora, California started race one on the pole and won the race.  Never looking back, Koch leading every lap of the 30 minute event building up a lead of over six seconds.

Race two on Friday was a different challenge for the young speedster, Koch started in 9th position and by the end of the race had improved to 2nd.  Koch’s charge to the front left him finishing only .61 seconds from sweeping the weekend.
