Milwaukee Mile IndyCar Series Race Weekend

Indy Pro Series – Road Runner 100
Alex Lloyd won his 5th straight race in the Indy Pro Series. Lloyd started on the pole and led flag to flag in the Road Runner 100 at the Milwaukee Mile.

IndyCar Series Qualifying
Backing up his fast practice, Helio Castroneves put his car on the pole for the ABC Supply Co Inc/AJ Foyt 255 at the Milwaukee Mile. Castroneves circled the Mile in 21.3596 seconds (171.071 mph). The pole position is the 167th for Penske Racing and Castroneves has won nine times when starting first. Scott Dixon will start from the outside of the front row.

Indy Pro Series Qualifying
Alex Lloyd will start the Road Runner 100 from P1 after a 25.0142 lap (146.077mph) put him on the pole. Jonathan Klein will start alongside in the second position. Rookie Ryan Justice will start third and Mike Potekhen will roll off in the fourth position.

Lloyd will be gunning for his fifth straight victory in the Indy Pro Series. The race is scheduled to start at 5:15pm CST.

IndyCar Series Practice – Session 2
Helio Castroneves moved his name to the top of the list with a 21.2844 second lap (171.675 mph). That lap was the fastest overall of both practice sessions.

Tony Kanaan moved up to second fastest with his 21.5437 second run (169.609 mph). Scott Dixon ran a 21.5687 second lap (169.412 mph), good for third fastest in the session and on the day.

IndyCar Series Practice – Session 1
Last weeks winner Dario Franchitti topped the charts in the first practice session for the ABC Supply Co Inc/AJ Foyt 255 at the Milwaukee Mile.

Franchitti showed no signs of wear and tear from a long week celebrating his win in the Indianapolis 500 with a fast lap of 21.7413 (168.067 mph). Dan Wheldon followed with a time of 21.7524 (167.981 mph). Rounding out the top five were Tony Kanaan, Tomas Scheckter and Kosuke Matsuura.

Indy Pro Series Practice
Currently on a hot winning streak of the first four races of the season, Alex Lloyd turned the fastest practice lap for the Road Runner 100.

Lloyd turned his fastest lap in the second round of practice at the Milwaukee Mile for the Indy Pro Series race today. Lapping the historic one mile oval in 25.1485 seconds, Lloyds speed was 145.297 miles per hour.
