Kenseth Enters Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 At The Milwaukee Mile

MILWAUKEE, WIS. (March 4, 2013) – Wisconsin native and 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
champion Matt Kenseth has added one more race to an already busy 2013 schedule by
entering the Swiss Colony Howie Lettow Memorial 150 presented by RaceTeamGear.com,
July 9 at The Milwaukee Mile.

Kenseth will take a break from his regular duties as driver of the No. 20 Dollar
General Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing and travel back to his home state to
compete against the best late model racers the Midwest has to offer at The Mile.

“It’s always fun to get back to grass roots racing in Wisconsin,” said the two-time
Daytona 500 champion. “I get to see a lot of old friends and race with some guys
that I don’t often get to race against.”

“The Mile is legendary, not just in Wisconsin but throughout the country, so it’s
fun to have the chance to come here and compete. I’m exited to still have a chance
to race at The Mile. There should be another great field for this race and being
able to race against Ross certainly adds to that excitement.”

Kenseth, who posted a sixth-place finish in last year’s inaugural event, will be
joined by his 19-year old son, Ross Kenseth, who’s coming off a very successful
2012 in super late models. Both father and son will challenge a deep field of the
country’s best racers led by the ECHO and ECHO Bear Cat Touring Stars of the ARCA
Midwest Tour presented by SCAG Power Equipment & Lester Buildings.

In 2010 Ross Kenseth competed full time with the ARCA Midwest Tour, earning Rookie
of the Year honors. The younger Kenseth, now a sophomore at Clemson University,
enjoyed a successful 2012 season down south with five late model victories including
back-to-back wins at the All-American 400 in Nashville, Tenn. And Winchester (Ind.)
400. He’ll bring his No. 25 Blain’s Farm & Fleet Toyota to compete in front of his
Midwest fan base. Blain’s Farm & Fleet is a Janesville, Wis.-based general retail
company that has supported Ross’ career for the last five years and is an official
dealer for ECHO Outdoor Power Equipment.

The 2010 Daytona 500 Champion will be present at The Milwaukee Mile on Tuesday July
9th to practice, qualify, and race his No. 20 Toyota late model. Matt Kenseth has
previously competed at The Milwaukee Mile in both late models and in the NASCAR
Nationwide (formerly Busch) Series.

“Matt and Ross are a very integral piece of the puzzle when working to make the
Milwaukee race successful,” commented ARCAMT Vice President Steve Einhaus. “Their
fan base is so large, and they always come to win. I really enjoy working with both
of them and they are very good to the tour when we ask them to race with us. Matt
is one of the best in the industry when it comes to giving back to the short track
fans in the Midwest and we couldn’t be any happier to have him joining us again
at Milwaukee.”

This event is in honor of the memory of Howie Lettow, a man who touched the lives
and careers of many racers across the United States. He is perhaps best remembered
for his time spent as a crew chief in the ASA National Series and later the ASA
Late Model Tour.
