Choquette Back With Adrian Carriers Racing Team

July 1, 2014 – 27 year-old, Jeff Choquette of West Palm Beach, FL, will return to the seat of the #29 Adrian Carriers/Liz Girl Logistics super late model and #97 NASCAR® Camping World Truck Series team out of Milan, IL.
Choquette will be returning to the same team and same guys he worked with before, which will be a benefit for everyone involved. “I’m really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the Adrian Carriers/Liz Girl Logistic’s equipment and working with the guys again. It will be great to work together again and see if we can pick up where we left off,” he said.
The first race will be the ARCA Midwest Tour Coors Light Summer Shootout presented by McGrath Powersports and Liz Girl Logistics on July 5th at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids, IA. Choquette has raced a late model less than a handful of times in the past year, so he’s looking forward to getting back into fresh equipment.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been behind the wheel. I’m a little nervous about being rusty. Everyone says it’s like riding a bike, so I’m hoping they are right,” joked Choquette.
“Jeff has always been a threat to win when he attends our events and he is well liked by the Tour competitors. His past success and competitiveness brings a lot of excitement to our event and we are honored to have him travel up here to race in the event,” said Steve Einhaus, ARCAMT VP.
The Adrian Carriers racing team has no doubt that Choquette will fall right back into place, considering the amount of success the team has had in the past, winning at such places as Nashville Super Speedway, Five Flags Speedway, Mobile International Speedway, Illiana Motor Speedway, and probably most notoriously, Iowa Speedway, where the team will be headed on July 10th and 11th for the NASCAR® Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200.
Not only did the team win the ARCA Midwest Tour event there in 2011, but in their first ever Truck debut in 2012, they finished 11th and came back later that year and backed it up with an eighth place finish.
“The two races (NCWTS) that I ran there, we ran 11th and eighth. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off. Most importantly, the main goal is just to come out in one piece and have a good showing. Everyone’s there to win, so as long as we can come out of there in a position to go on to the next one, it will be a success,” said Choquette.
It may have been a while since Choquette has been behind the wheel in the Midwest, but he hasn’t forgotten the level of competition that he will be up against when he returns to both series.
“Both the ARCA Midwest Tour guys and all of the NASCAR® Truck teams are tough competition. I haven’t raced against guys like that for a long time, so it isn’t going to be easy,” admitted Choquette.
