Born Into Racing – Hailie Deegan: The First Female Driver To Win A NASCAR Pro Series Race | M1TG
California’s Hailie Deegan made history earlier this year when she became the first female driver in NASCAR history to win a pro series pole position, doing so at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track in the K&N Pro Series West… before going on to become the first female driver to win a pro series race outright, having secured victory at the NAPA Auto Parts Idaho 208 at Meridian Speedway, Idaho. Mobil 1 The Grid spoke with both the 17-year-old and her father, X-Games legend Brian Deegan, to find out more about her burgeoning racing career, and her dreams of one day competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup.
